Which for me, it is where I am, in more ways than one.

This site is the pictures, videos and words for those activities I long to do, before I'm too old to do them.

Site Tech

The site has been created by manually typing the HTML.

I did look at using a Content Management System (CMS), such as WordPress or Concrete5, but then I couldn't quite see the point of a CMS for a simple blogging site.

The site would look nicer starting from a template, but it saves some money by not paying for a WordPress hosting, or paying for the advanced themes that speed website creation (and amendment). Not withstanding the CMS advantage of 'it's been done for you', this way I get to understand what I'm doing.
